What is Creative Arts?
The Creative Arts Ministry exists to open the hearts and minds of our Cheyenne Hills family to encounter the reality of the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ. Using God’s Word as our guide, we reflect God’s creativity through various expressions of music, beauty, and technical excellence.
Worship Team
Our worship is more than words and music. We are dedicated to activating a worship lifestyle that draws each of us to a dynamic real relationship with God. We are not ashamed and definitely not quiet about shouting, clapping, and singing His praise, as we are told to do, in the Bible (Psalm 47:1, 66:1, 81:1). Our desire is not to perform but to influence others for Christ. Come and be a part of our team.
Qualifications
• Growing Christian and regular attendee at Cheyenne Hills
• Involved in or currently pursuing GROW group involvement
• Enthusiastic about using your gifts in ministry to others
• Teachable, uncritical spirit, winning attitude and willing to serve others
Expectations
- Some sight reading or ear training ability (either natural or trained)
- Participate in each of the three weekly worship services at least two times a month
- Contribute at least three-four hours weekly to rehearsals week of commitment
- Arrive 15 minutes early to weekly rehearsals/run-throughs (when you are scheduled)
- Dress modestly and tastefully for worship services
- Contact leaders prior to absences and arrange with director to trade spots
- PRACTICE outside of rehearsals
- Take seriously the task for worship leadership (even if you feel you are not a leader)
- Memorize all lyrics prior to weekend worship (don't rely on video graphics)
Vocals
We are excited to see people strive for excellence in singing. We offer a four-session class on vision, vocal technique, to help us all become better vocalists.
Band
We are always looking for to add to our team. Experienced band leads are dedicated to mentor you in our process.

From lights, to sound, to last minute staging, Cheyenne Hills Tech Team works together in pursuit of excellence. We’re sure you’ll find it exciting to see and be a part of. Each team serves in rotation to allow you flexibility in your volunteer schedule.

Drama Team
The Drama team consists of volunteers of all ages who enjoy acting, directing and writing.
Telling God’s story through skits, plays, songs, and dance
Dramas are used to ask questions, set up situations, or otherwise amplify the pastor's message. If you think you'd be a good fit or have questions, contact us for more information!
