WHAT TO EXPECT

COME AS A GUEST - LEAVE AS FAMILY

The coffee is always on (tea or hot chocolate, too, if you prefer). Catch up with old friends and meet new ones at the Ripple Cafe before or after any one of our three worship services. Guest services is just around the corner in the worship center lobby. And don’t forget to pick up your gift for being a first-time visitor.

COME DRESSED AS YOU LIKE

Our focus isn’t on outward appearance. It’s on praising an awesome God. Be prepared to sing, and clap, and express yourself to an upbeat and eclectic mix of traditional and modern worship songs.

BIBLICAL AND PRACTICAL TEACHING

We aim toward relevance and community. We want to equip you to connect Sunday through Monday so you can live a “life more abundant” both inside and outside the church walls. Occasionally we use dramas, skits, or even movie clips to illustrate a particular point. If you have talent in those areas let us know! We’d love to include you, too. There’s room here for anyone and everyone! Check out our weekly program or website for special events where you can get involved!

MEET THE PASTORS

DR. GALEN HUCK

SENIOR PASTOR

For 25 years Dr. Galen Huck has served in full time ministry with an emphasis on team leadership, relational evangelism and world missions. Empowered leadership and church planting has been a signature of his work over the years with a special focus on coming along-side church planting pastors in Utah, India, and Uganda. He summarizes his driving purpose in ministry, “Wouldn’t it be great if 10,000 souls are in glory as result of our work here on earth.”

Dr. Huck and his wife Mary Kay both grew up in farming and ranching families.
Five years after graduating from Kansas State University, they found themselves at Dallas Theological Seminary studying for the ministry. They were in Cheyenne from 1993 to 1997 helping launch Cheyenne Hills Church as an associate pastor before stepping out again as the founding pastor of Rock Creek Church in Louisville, Colorado. In March of 2008, the Lord called them back to Cheyenne Hills.

In this season of life in Cheyenne, his favorite things include being a grandparent (with MK…his sweetheart of 35 years), being part of Cheyenne’s great team roping community, working out with the 5:30 am class at CrossFit Frontier, and building stuff.

KENNY WHITE

ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Kenny is married to his college sweetheart Cindy. He is from Indiana and enjoys basketball, reading, movies, “30 day challenges” (you should ask him about this). Cindy is a Cheyenne girl and graduated from East High School.

Kenny has been in ministry since 1995 and has served as youth pastor, senior pastor and associate pastor. Kenny and Cindy have 7 children! They wanted to have a large family but stopped at 7.

Kenny and Cindy are loving this chapter of their lives and learning what it means to trust Him and continue to grow in Christ.
